Major: Geography
Minor: Nature & Heritage Tourism
Graduation Date: May 13, 2016
Not Counted Because: Transferred; Started Part-Time

During my college career, I attended several different community colleges and universities. As a former military spouse, I traveled to different parts of the country and overseas to Germany. Once I came back permanently to the United States, I began community college in San Antonio and then transferred to Austin. This gave me the ability to work full time and still attend college. I finally transferred to Texas State University because it offered the major that would put me on track to pursuing my ultimate career goals.

After I graduate from Texas State University, I will continue my studies as a graduate student in their environmental geography masters program. I plan to work closely with my graduate advisor to develop my aptitude in conservation bio-geography. I also will be taking a position with the West Cave Preserve in Austin doing conservation field research.
