Major: Psychology
Graduation Date: May 12, 2016
Not Counted Because: Transferred

I transferred because I was working full time, taking care of my kids, and needed to be able to pay for college without taking out loans. My dream job (public librarian) doesn’t make much more than what I make now, so I knew loans wouldn’t be worth it. I also transferred because community college allowed me to get back into school mode (after 9 years out of it) more gradually and in smaller classrooms with more teacher time per student.

I plan to go to graduate school to earn my masters of information and library science. I’ve always wanted to be a public librarian, but it took me awhile to work up the nerve to actually go for a six-year degree. I also have plans to present research I worked on during the last semester at a conference, write two research articles for publication, work with the university library to test out forms and publications, and generally stay as busy as possible with things I learned to love in my four years of college so far!
