Major: Philosophy
Graduation Date: June 12, 2016
Not Counted Because: Transferred

Due to the circumstances of my upbringing, I never attended high school. I enrolled in college at age 27 because I realized that without a college degree, many opportunities were closed to me.

My academic experience was rich and exceeded my expectations. Thanks to the hardworking teachers in the Philosophy Department, I’ve learned the nature of working within the discipline. I’ve presented at multiple undergraduate philosophy conferences around the country, and my work has been published in multiple undergraduate philosophy and honors journals. Upon graduating from Portland State, I intend to pursue a Ph.D. and become a professor.
