For me it was always “Go blue” in my past, present, and now for the rest of my life. Ever since I was in high school, I wanted to attend Michigan; however, my grades at the time were not where they needed to be. Despite this, my dream of becoming a Wolverine never faded away. It was during my two years at Detroit’s Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) that I realized my dream could actually come true.

After graduation I will take a gap year—afterwards I plan to enroll in a master’s program in higher education, or physical therapy. During my gap year I am looking forward to living in my beautiful home of Ann Arbor, and working at my alma mater of Michigan. Although I have graduated from the University of Michigan, helping our students continue to flourish is of the utmost importance to me, so I plan to work with student programs on campus.
