Major: Supervision & Management
Graduation Date: February 15, 2018
Not Counted Because: Transferred; Started Part-Time

I started my degree as a part-time student in 2004. In addition to being a part-time student, I am married and a mother of two children.  Attending school part-time was the only way I could reach my goals. After three years of attending community college, I transferred to Florida SouthWestern State College in the spring of 2007.  My family relocated to Florida’s gulf coast in search of better opportunities.

I have worked for Lee Memorial for 12 years while pursuing her degree at Florida SouthWestern State College. With the completion of my bachelor’s in supervision and management degree, I know has the education and experience to “move up the ladder” at Lee Memorial. I am currently a certified patient business representative and would like to put my supervision and management degree to use working in human resources.

Having a college degree is an important stepping stone, and I am confident my education will open doors to greater opportunity. I feel more qualified and likely to be hired for advanced positions with my current employer. I have a continued desire to learn and grow, and am thinking about pursuing a master’s degree.
