Major: Secondary Education—Business
Graduation Date: May 12, 2018
Not Counted Because: Transferred
I transferred to K-State, after attending community college, because of a single visit I took to Kansas State. During my time in community college, my original plan was to stay two years and then transfer to a four-year college. However, after experiencing K-State through an energetic host and a welcoming atmosphere, I decided to transfer to K-State after a year of community college. It was one of the best decisions I have made. After graduation, I will start my career at Salina South High School as a business teacher. I will also be an assistant middle school football coach for Salina South Middle School. Eventually, I would like to pursue a master’s degree in administration to take on the role as a athletic director.
Having a college degree, to me, represents opportunities. As a future teacher and coach, I will provide the absolute best opportunities for my students. Each and every student with receive and know how to take hold of every opportunity.
