The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is a dynamic public research university with a deep commitment to teaching. U.S. News & World Report has recognized UMBC as a leader in innovation and undergraduate teaching and The Princeton Review and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance have named UMBC a “best value” among public universities. UMBC offers an honors university experience with learning opportunities traditionally found at small liberal arts colleges, plus one of the country’s most inclusive graduate education communities.
