Western Nevada College

Founded in 1971, Western Nevada College (WNC) is a public, primarily two-year, comprehensive college serving Churchill, Douglas, Lyon and Storey counties and Carson City. Serving both urban and rural communities, WNC maintains campuses in Carson City, Minden and Fallon, and satellite centers in Yerington, Fernley, and Smith Valley. WNC offers the Associates Degree, a wide range of work-force related certificates, and the Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management. The varied academic programs, combined with extensive counseling and other student services, allows WNC to address student and service area needs within the mission of the college.
