Purdue University Northwest

Part of the internationally respected Purdue University system, Purdue University Northwest offers world-class educational opportunities at an excellent value on two culturally diverse, student-centered campuses located in the Northwest Indiana cities of Hammond and Westville, both within easy driving distance of Chicago, Illinois. Purdue Northwest is the fifth largest public university in Indiana, with more than 12,000 students as of fall 2017. Purdue Northwest offers nearly 70 programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. The university is distinguished by its commitment to hands-on, experiential learning, including undergraduate research. PNW students also enjoy numerous opportunities to interact one-on-one with faculty members in learning activities. In addition to helping qualified, ambitious students persist successfully to graduation, Purdue Northwest strategically advances positive change and economic growth within northwest Indiana through outreach institutes and centers.
