Growing up in a small town, I knew that I wanted to experience the complete opposite so a school in a city environment was a crucial factor in what college I would choose. My time in the city allowed me new experiences, but I knew if I wanted to focus on school I needed to go back to my roots. WSU Tri-Cities afforded me the opportunity to have a small town feel close to home while still receiving a well-rounded education. After graduation, I plan to pursue graduate school.
To me, a college degree is the physical representation of the time and effort put into school to achieve set goals that are accomplished with persistence and determination in the face of adversity. Therefore, it means a lot to me to have been able to achieve this step and celebrate this accomplishment with those that have helped and supported me along the way.
