California State University, Fullerton plays a major role in Southern California’s intellectual, cultural and economic life. The University's 314,000 graduates occupy key positions in business, government, and the nonprofit sector. With its campus in Fullerton, the University is home to more than 39,000 students each fall and more than 3,700 faculty and staff members. Cal State Fullerton’s faculty members are outstanding scholars in their disciplines who work in close collaboration with students and staff to increase knowledge. What sets them apart is the exceptional learning environment they create, because professors’ primary focus is on teaching and helping students reach their potential. Often in collaboration with students, CSUF faculty members conduct substantial research, scholarship, and creative activities.
