The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.

Boise State University

As one of the top public universities in the Northwest, Boise State University strives to be known not only for the region’s finest undergraduate education but also for outstanding research and graduate programs. With more than 22,000 students representing Idaho, the nation and the world, Boise State’s diverse population includes many nontraditional students as well as those enrolling directly from high school. The breadth of programs and services Boise State offers, combined with its unique location, make it one of the nation’s best places to live and learn. Idaho’s metropolitan university has academic programs in eight colleges — Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, Honors, Social Sciences and Public Affairs, and Graduate Studies — with a full-time faculty of more than 650. Boise State faculty members are dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and creative activity. Students can enhance classroom learning by interning with the State Legislature, government agencies, or one of the many private businesses or industries in the area. They also can study abroad in more than 50 countries. Students have the opportunity to work with and study under some of the West’s most respected scientists, artists, researchers and educators. And more than 200 student organizations guarantee plenty of opportunity for fun.
