The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.

University of Kentucky

Nestled in the heart of the scenic Bluegrass region, the University of Kentucky was founded in 1865 as a land-grant university. UK is a public, research extensive university dedicated to improving people's lives through excellence in teaching, research, health care, cultural enrichment, and economic development. Today, the University enrolls over 30,000 students in 16 colleges and the Graduate School. Students from across Kentucky, most states, and over 100 foreign countries constitute a diverse learning and cultural environment that enriches the educational experience at UK. The University offers over 300 degree programs in agriculture, arts and sciences, business and economics, communications and information studies, dentistry, design, education, engineering, fine arts, health sciences, law, medicine, pharmacy, public health, and social work.

The SAM Full-time Bachelor's Degree model tracks a group of students who started a bachelor's degree program at University of Kentucky in the Fall of 2009. The students' progress toward a degree is reported within 4, 5, and 6 years. The same group of students is included in the results for every year.

The sections of the SAM chart represent the proportion of students in the original group with the following five outcomes.
