University of Louisiana at Lafayette

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is the second largest university in the state, with over 18,000 students, and the largest in the nine-member University of Louisiana System. A public research institution, it awards bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. UL Lafayette is a national leader in computer science, environmental biology and nursing. Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns® student-athletes compete in NCAA Division I, the highest level of collegiate competition, and have the highest graduation rate in the state. The University is in a region known for the extraordinary food, music, hospitality and joie de vivre that are hallmarks of its distinctive Cajun and Creole cultures.
