The University of Nebraska at Omaha is Nebraska’s premier metropolitan research university. It has both a Doctoral Research University and Community Engagement classification by the Carnegie Foundation and has been on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for seven consecutive years. UNO offers over 200 accredited academic, research, and services programs at the baccalaureate, master and doctoral levels. UNO has many options for military and veteran students and is ranked #6 in military friendliness by ‘The Military Times’. Its Bachelor of General Studies program is ranked #11 by U.S. News and World Report.
