The Student Achievement Measure is supported by six sponsoring associations, working together to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of student progress and completion as students move across institutions and state boundaries.
Western Nevada College
Founded in 1971, Western Nevada College (WNC) is a public, primarily two-year, comprehensive college serving Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, Mineral and Storey counties and Carson City. Whether you’re a student attending WNC for the first time or an individual returning to college to retool for the changing Nevada, we have degrees and programs to help you achieve your goals. Our transfer degrees enable you to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree in a variety of majors for a fraction of the cost of a university, while workforce and career technology bachelor’s, associates and certificate programs provide the skills and industry credentials you need to start a new career in as little as eight weeks. WNC is based in Carson City with centers in Fallon and Minden and offers a significant number of programs completely online or in a hybrid format.First-time-In-College Students Starting Fall 2015
