Tarleton State University
Centrally located in the heart of Stephenville, Texas, Tarleton State University has been an integral part of the rural community since its start as a small liberal arts institution in 1899. Now, 125 years later, the university has evolved to a thriving four-year NCAA Division I institution with booming enrollment. The main campus serves as the focal point for a dynamic and enriching student experience, with additional locations in Fort Worth, Waco, Bryan, and Online. Since the start of 2019, an impressive 35 new degree programs have been added. Overall, nearly 130 degree programs epitomize a dedication to providing a life-changing education. The university is experiencing unprecedented growth, marked by the strategic expansion of key facilities. This includes the establishment of a cutting-edge Event Center, a state-of-the-art headquarters dedicated to research and economic development, the new second building on the Fort Worth campus and the construction of a Health Professions Building.Fall 2017 First-time Full-time Cohort
