University of Wisconsin-Superior
The University of Wisconsin-Superior is a dynamic public university of 2,600 students in the Duluth-Superior MN-WI metro area, which is on the western tip of Lake Superior. UW-Superior is known for its quality academic programs, small class sizes and friendly atmosphere. Our size and 14-to-1 student-teacher ratio means faculty members have time to engage, challenge and mentor students. Hundreds of UW-Superior students work many hours in project-based classes that meet real community needs. Four nationally known institutes conduct ongoing research on Lake Superior's ecosystem and ways to improve its transport and shipping industry.
