Founded in 1989, California State University San Marcos is a new kind of university — the 20th campus to be established in the 23-campus CSU system. The SAM Full-time Bachelor's Degree model tracks a group of students who started a bachelor's degree program at California State University-San Marcos in the Fall of 2011.
